AnnaSophia Robb : 

 (born December 8, 1993) is an American actress, model, and singer. She began her career as a child actress making her feature film debut in Because of Winn-Dixie (2005). She then starred in a string of successful films playing notable roles such as Violet Beauregarde in Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), Leslie Burke in Bridge to Terabithia (2007), and surfer Bethany Hamilton in Soul Surfer (2011). She has also acted in Jumper (2008), Race to Witch Mountain (2009), The Way, Way Back (2013), and Rebel Ridge (2024).

On television, she took the lead role of Carrie Bradshaw on The CW's series The Carrie Diaries (2013–2014). She portrayed Samantha Parkington in the television movie Samantha: An American Girl Holiday (2004). She has acted in the PBS period series Mercy Street (2016–2017), the Hulu limited series The Act (2019), Hulu miniseries Little Fires Everywhere (2020), and the Peacock drama series Dr. Death (2021).

Early life : 

Robb was born on December 8,  1993, in Denver, Colorado, the only child of Janet, an interior designer, and David Robb, an architect. She was named after her maternal great-grandmother, Anna Sophie, and her paternal grandmother, Anna Marie. Robb is of Danish, English, Irish, Scottish, and Swedish descent.  She grew up in a devout Christian home and was home-schooled. She started taking an interest in acting and began by performing in front of people on her church stage. She competed in dance and gymnastics for four and a half years, but quit to focus on acting.  She attended Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colorado and graduated in 2012

Upcoming, actress AnnaSophia Robb stars in the Netflix feature film REBEL RIDGE as the female lead opposite Aaron Pierre. The high-velocity thriller, which hails from writer and director Jeremy Saulnier, will be released on September 6, 2024. Robb is also set to begin production on the NBC series GROSSE POINTE GARDEN SOCIETY in which she stars alongside Aja Naomi King and Melissa Fumero.

In 2021, Robb starred alongside Joshua Jackson and Christian Slater in the Peacock limited series DR. DEATH, which first premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival that year. Also in 2021, she starred alongside Harvey Keitel, Sam Worthington and Minka Kelly in the crime-drama biopic LANSKY.

She also led the cast of THE EXPECTING, a scripted horror series for Quibi, and she appeared alongside Charlie Plummer and Taylor Russell in the film WORDS ON BATHROOM WALLS, based on Julia Walton's debut novel.

In 2019, Robb appeared in Hulu's critically acclaimed limited series THE ACT. In 2018, she starred opposite Uma Thurman in Lionsgate's suspenseful thriller DOWN A DARK HALL, directed by Rodrigo Cortes. In 2017, she starred in the feature FREAK SHOW produced by Drew Barrymore's Flower Films and directed by Trudie Styler. In 2013, Robb co-starred opposite Toni Collette and Steve Carell in the critically acclaimed Fox Searchlight film THE WAY, WAY BACK, directed by Nat Faxon and Jim Rash. In 2011, she received outstanding reviews for her performance in SOUL SURFER, the story of Bethany Hamilton, a competitive surfer who survived a horrific shark attack. Robb also starred in the CW's THE CARRIE DIARIES, playing the character Carrie Bradshaw in the prequel to the HBO highly successful series SEX & THE CITY.

Personal life : 

Robb enrolled at New York University in 2014and graduated in 2018. On September 7, 2021, Robb announced her engagement to her boyfriend Trevor Paul on Instagram. They married a year later, on September 10, 2022, in a three-day celebration within the Catskill and Shawangunk Mountains in New York state. 

Robb was very active and vocal during the 2023 Hollywood Labor Disputes
