Biography Of Valeria Lanskaya

Father Alexander Zaitsev is a ballroom dancing teacher and choreographer. Mother Elena Maslennikova is a choreographer, figure skating coach , and ice show director. As a child, she did rhythmic gymnastics , figure skating, and dancing. From 1996 to 2002, she played in the Young Actor Musical Theater , and in 2010, she continued collaborating with this theater, where her sister Anastasia Maslennikova was also playing at the time.

In 2002, she completed advanced training courses for choreographers “Sputnik”.

In 2006 she graduated from the B. Shchukin Theatre Institute , acting course of Yu. V. Shlykov .

Even before graduating from the institute, she was accepted into the troupe of the Arkady Raikin Satirikon Theatre . She collaborated with the E. Vakhtangov Theatre and the A. Rybnikov Theatre . In 2005-2012, she was an actress at the Moon Theatre .

Since 2005, she has been acting in films and TV series. In particular, she made her debut in the film " Hare over the Abyss ". Valeriya Lanskaya was born on January 2, 1987 in Moscow, RSFSR, USSR [now Russia]. She is an actress, known for Ryabinovyy vals (2010), Monte Cristo Musical (2019) and Prikosnovenie. She has been married to Stas Ivanov since March 1, 2015. They have one child.

• In 2009, she was the skating partner of Russian Olympic ice-skating champion Alexei Yagudin in "Lednikoviy period - 2", a Russian game show in which celebrities team with professional athletes and compete on the ice, similar to Canada's Stars on Ice (1976).
• Her mother, Elena Maslenikova, is a famous Russian ice-skating choreographer.
• She and her husband, Russian director, writer, and producer Stas Ivanov, have one son, Artemiy, who was born in Moscow, Russia, on September 3, 2015 (which, by the way, was only 6 months after Valeriya and Stas married).
